Our designers incorporate features such as roof ventilators, radiator covers and underfloor heating to ensure that your conservatory is cool and airy during the summer months and warm and cosy in winter. Use of argon filled low emissivity double glazed units ensures insulation to satisfy the most recent building regulations. |

Surveying |
Once a contract has been agreed, a full survey is carried out by one of Malbrook Conservatories' experienced surveyors who will prepare final drawings of the conservatory or orangery for your approval as well as detailed base plans for the builder. Our structural engineers wil specify any load bearing requirements and prepare heat loss calculations, if required. |

Where required, Malbrook Conservatories can apply for all necessary planning and listed building consents. We can also work with your architect, surveyor or builder as appropriate and will advise on requirements for building regulations. We are fully conversant with requirements for historic and refurbishment projects. |

Each door is fitted with a British Standard 5-lever mortise lock, lever handles, barrel bolts and cabin hooks. Each window is fitted with a casement fastener and stay with Chubb security bolts to meet insurance requirements. Glazing |
Double glazed roof units are constructed using 6mm toughened safety glass incorporating a 16mm airspace. Roof glass is held in a specially formed seal under aluminium rafter caps, which are polyester powder-coated and provide a maintenance free roof construction. Wall units are constructed using two leaves of 4mm toughened safety glass incorporating a 12mm airspace. All Malbrook Conservatories' units are manufactured and toughened to British Standards and are Kite marked. For most installations Malbrook would recommend the use of special low emissivity insulating glass together with Argon gas filling to double glazed units. Advances in technology allow us to offer further options including 'self cleaning' and solar control glass. |
Timber |
Malbrook Conservatories fully appreciate the importance of selecting durable timber of the highest quality for our conservatories and orangeries. Appropriate hardwoods are chosen from sustainable sources, and all sections are machined and assembled using traditional joinery methods, reflecting our attention to detail. |
